The works from 8bit Instrumental are absolutely amazing and they even executed an special album for a game project called Pulso da Rua. Fantastic stuff.
But Brazil have other big game bands, one major example is MegaDriver-they are a heavy metal band, and their versions for games like Streets of Rage, Top Gear, KOF and more are also amazing.
In Brazil we always had a very strong fan base for any kind of games. Nos console is a strange for a good part of the gamer population. Well, I'm proud to say I manage to keep my Dreamcast side by side with my 360 and my PS2.

Thanks for sharing this track. Indeed, the song lends itself well to the arrangement, and, while I personally might not have thought to do it myself for this particular track, it comes as no surprise considering Mitsuda's other compositions. On my blog (linked) I've been studying and breaking down "Time's Scar" from Chrono Cross and have made reference to Mitsuda's very clear thematic intentions within the game, specifically his focus on the acoustic guitar and latin rhythms.

The place isn't too roomy, so we won't be needing much other stuff. Definitely feel free to bring any games you'd want to play though, and maybe a system too. You never know!

No need to RSVP or anything, but you can say you are coming, and invite others, via the facebook page. http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=136719476423804
