Check out the Rat Nest, a chill shop for games, music, and more, located in Chino, CA
Ratnest is a new record store in Chino, California that just opened up within the year. Not only a record store, but a video game store, clothing store, collectibles shop, music store, arcade, and chill hang out spot. You can even grab a snack or drink when you stop in.
Ratnest seems to specialize in a lot of rock and metal, but has a variety of other genres in stock. Band T-shirts, hats, cassette tapes, stickers and patches, and that is just the music. Plenty of video game collectibles from rare video games to one dollar gacha toys.
You can relax on the couch, or play a few arcade games, and on special occasions, join Ratnest for one of their movie nights or in store concerts.
I’ve made a few purchases that I’m happy with. Not just the snacks and drinks, but I’ve had the chance to gather a full collection of Earhbound Gacha toys. I also purchased one of my first records, the 25th Anniversary Pokemon album.
Find Ratnest right off the 60 Freeway on Mountain Ave in Chino, California at the easy to remember, 12345 Mountain Ave, Suite Y, Chino CA 91710, and find RatNest on Twitter and Instagram @itsratnest.
Got to love that unique logo up there. Wonder what the sign maker thought when this request came in, Below two pictures you can see some of the awesome items I’ve bought at the store, including the full set of Earthbound Gacha ghost keychains. I have quite a few extra Jeff’s though from trying to finally get Paula and burnt to a crisp Ness. Next up is the surprisingly good Pokemon 25: The Album. I already have the album downloaded, and am a fan of most of the tracks on the compilation, especially Vince Staples and Cyn’s contributions to the project. Thanks to Rat Nest, I’ve got the vinyl, and that simple but effective artwork in my grasp.
Are you planning on starting a band, and playing the Game Boy as your instrument? Rat Nest gots you covered with some custom, one of a kind Game Boy mods.
No collectible shop is complete without a showcase of the rarest and most unique collectibles on display behind glass.
Rat’s Nest is also an arcade. Put your quarters up! (except for the free play arcade cabinet!)
Of course, there is plenty of browsing to do.
