Kena: Bridge of Spirits (Original Game Soundtrack) by Theophany, I Dewa Putu Berata, Rozen available to download
The latest from Theophany, along with I Dewa Putu Berata and Rozen, bring us the expansive soundtrack to Kena Bridge of Spirits. An almost endless collection of ambience, themes, jingles, and moods that I am still shifting through, but have enjoyed immensely thus far. What’s to be expected coming from some of my favorite Legend of Zelda rearrangers.
“Thank you to anyone who supports this release. All of the money is going directly to me, Dewa Putu Berata, Emiko Susilo, Rozen and David Peacock according to our respective contributions.
I have tried to make composition credit and monetary splits as equitable as the current music distribution system allows across platforms. It definitely has limitations, since it’s built for either a single artist or “Various artists”.
Rozen has helped immensely in the distribution of this album, so I want to give special recognition to his incredible role in making this release possible, and for his contributions to the soundtrack. I want to thank Ember Lab as well because a financial split like this would not have been tenable without the legal provisions they provided in our contract.
I’m sorry it has taken a year to release this. Games, contracts, and distribution can all be extremely complicated with a small team, but I hope you enjoy the music.
This soundtrack features Gamelan Jegog, a giant bamboo orchestra originating in Bali, Indonesia. Search it up and support Indonesian composers. You may hear more of it!
