There are a lot of great tracks on this compilation, despite being about 15 years old. I think this one is a little under rated, as glitch tracks tend to be. It takes a certain ear to appreciate these harsher tones, but Two Playa Game was able to mix those glitchy samples alongside a more hip hop aesthetic for something I really enjoyed…

The title 'Atomic Punk' sounds way more awesome than the off brand Irem made port of Bomberman this game actually is. I wasn't expecting such a well known console game to pop up in a random sampling of MAME emulated arcade games. I was hoping for a new gameplay experience, and I have experienced plenty of bomber men in my life. I actually did get a new experience though. I had the chance to learn what Bomberman would be, if it was bad.
It's the second furthest track from the first. Track 25 on a 26 track compilation. It can be argued that the almost final track, is even less played than the final track. The final track has some finality to it. This one is almost there, but might get skipped over in the rush to the end…
There is not a better title for this album than A Happy Place. Whitely's 2021 album is exactly what I can use for this endless, climate induced, summer. An album like this blasts off some of the intense heat consuming the state I live in. Take me to that ice cold, extra chill, happy place Whitely…
By and large, these Pixel Pal toys are pretty lame. Most of the items in the now defunct Pixel Pals line were just boring recolors of Mega Man sprites. Understandable from a cost perspective, but drab and boring if you actually plan on convincing people to want to have multiple toy lamps in their home…
